The Cherry MX2A switch uses high-precision lubrication applied directly to the dome of the lower case through a carefully designed automated process to ensure that every keystroke is smooth and quiet.
Instead of a cylindrical spring geometry, the MX2A switches use a barrel-shaped spring that is narrower at the top and bottom, ensuring that each spring retains its shape during near-non-contact linear motion. By adding a "crown" of six ribs at the opening of the shaft that keeps the spring centered and reduces wobble, the Cherry MX2A switch enhances your typing or playing experience to the highest degree.
