Cherry MX Switch is the most well-known series of switches that offers an excellent, smooth, and tactile typing experience. The Cherry MX switches are fully compatible with our mechanical keyboards (hot-swappable), which do not need to be soldered.
Cherry offers the popular and widely used MX switch technology for the mechanical keyboard market. Cherry MX switches and Cherry MX RGB switches are available in several variants, the three main ones being Cherry MX Red, Blue, and Brown. They provide linear, clicking, and tactile feedback one after the other.
The Cherry MX RGB switches have a transparent package for RGB compatibility, which is SMD LED compatible. While the normal Cherry MX switch has a deep black case and the backlight of the keyboard cannot shine through.
