Gateron Cap V2 Switch is the new Switch series that offers a smooth and tactile typing experience. The Gateron Cap V2 switches are fully compatible with our regular Keychron keyboards. They can be replaced on the fly and do not need to be soldered.
An enlarged pin makes the switch shaft less wobbly and more stable. A 0.4 mm small hole has been inserted into the switch base to reduce drag according to the aerodynamic principle. The base material of the gold contacts has been improved, which has significantly increased oxidation resistance and conductivity.
All K series keyboards ( Gateron Mechanical Hot-Swappable or Keychron Mechanical Hot-Swappable only), K Pro (normal profile versions only), V or Q Keychron.
Factory pre-lubrication generally improves the smoothness, stability and service life of the switch.
