Keychron's Q1 is a high-quality, full-metal keyboard that allows every key switch, keycap, stabilizer, and even plate to be customized. It is designed to create an ingenious typing experience through comprehensive personalization.
A brand new Arm Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 MCU with very low power consumption, which is powerful and equipped with 128K Flash, offers more flexibility for developers. Double-gasket design with additional silicone seals between the upper and lower casings for an improved noise profile.
The Keychron Q1 consists of a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum housing that goes through 24 processes, including polishing, anodizing and sandblasting. The seal-mounted design gives the board a comfortable, flexible writing experience with an excellent sound. The maximum flex of the Q1 is up to 2.5 mm.
The keyboard has a toggle switch for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap any key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware VIA allows you to define any key, keyboard layout, or backlight. Even writing from the MACROS for individual keyboard shortcuts that you want on your Keychron Q1. VIA supports macOS, Windows, and Linux.
The hot-swappable board supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical MX switches. Included in the Q1 are Gateron screw stabilizers that provide stability and smoothness. The screw design also allows compatibility with a wide range of other stabilizers.
The south-facing RGB-SMD LED lighting is easy to see as they face the user. The Gateron G Pro switches are pre-lubricated at the factory and offer an excellent typing experience, which is completed by the dye-sub PBT keycaps in the OSA profile.
