The Keychron Q8 is a high-quality mechanical keyboard in 65% Alice format. With its CNC-machined aluminum body, double-gasket design, QMK/VIA support, and rotary knob option, the Q8 meets all your practical needs and gives you a high-quality typing experience. The Alice format is considered ergonomic because it forces users to position their hands and wrists in a way that puts less strain on the muscles.
All components are designed to be easy to assemble. Therefore, you can customize and replace each component as you wish. A very low-power Arm Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 MCU that is powerful and equipped with 128K flash provides more flexibility for developers.
The Keychron Q8 consists of a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum housing that goes through 24 processes, including polishing, anodizing and sandblasting. The seal-mounted design gives the board a comfortable, flexible writing experience with an excellent sound.
The keyboard has a system switcher on the side for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap any key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware VIA allows you to define any key, keyboard layout, or backlight. Even writing from the MACROS for individual key combinations that you want on your Keychron Q8. VIA supports macOS, Windows, and Linux
The south-facing RGB-SMD LED lighting is easy to see as they face the user. The Gateron G Pro switches are pre-lubricated at the factory and offer an excellent typing experience, which is completed by the Dye-Sub ABS keycaps in the OSA profile.
