Keychron V6 (ANSI)
The V6 is a fully customizable mechanical keyboard that is ideal for all applications. It's a great choice for getting started in the world of custom keyboards. With a full-size layout (100% layout) that simultaneously retains the function keys and numeric keypad, QMK/VIA support, acoustic silicone pad and ABS backlight shine-through keycaps, the V6 offers the highest level of typing comfort and increases productivity.
What is the difference between Q Series and V Series?
The Q-series comes in a double-gasket design with an aluminum housing, for the V-series an ABS plastic housing in a tray mount design is installed. The most important premium features of the Q-Series are retained in the V-Series, and it is much cheaper due to the plastic housing.
All-round modifiable keyboard with powerful internals
All components are designed to be easy to assemble. Therefore, you can customize and replace each component as you wish. An Arm Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 very low-power MCU that is powerful and equipped with 128K flash provides more flexibility for developers.
Hot-swappable
The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the board, allowing you to install or replace the switches without soldering. The board supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.
Compatibility with Mac and Windows
The keyboard has a system switcher on the side for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.
Programming with QMK & VIA
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap any key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware VIA allows you to define any key, keyboard layout, or backlight. Even writing from MACROS for custom keyboard shortcuts you want on your Keychron V6. VIA supports macOS, Windows, and Linux
RGB Lighting & Keychron K Pro Switches
The south-facing RGB SMD LED lighting is easy to see as they face the user. The Keychron K Pro switches are pre-lubricated at the factory and offer an excellent typing experience, which is completed by the Double-Shot PBT keycaps in the OSA profile.
