What is the difference between the Q-Series and the V-Series?

The Q-series comes in a double-gasket design with an aluminum housing, while the V-series uses an ABS plastic housing in a tray mount design. The most important premium features of the Q-series are retained in the V-series, but due to the plastic housing it is much cheaper.

Compatibility with Mac and Windows

The keyboard has a system switcher on the side for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.

With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap any key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware VIA allows you to define any key, keyboard layout, or backlight. Even writing from the MACROS for individual keyboard shortcuts that you want on your Keychron V1.
