Keychron's Q3 is a high-quality barebones keyboard where every key switch, keycap, stabilizer, and even plate can be customized. It is designed to create an ingenious typing experience through comprehensive personalization.

High-quality materials

The Q3 barebone consists of a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum housing that goes through 24 processes, including polishing, anodizing and sandblasting. The seal-mounted design gives the board a comfortable, flexible writing experience with an excellent sound. The maximum flex of the Q3 is up to 2.5 mm.

Compatibility with Mac and Windows

The barebones keyboard has a toggle switch for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.

Programming with QMK & VIA

With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap any key (including the knob) on the keyboard. The open-source firmware VIA allows you to define any key, keyboard layout, or backlight. Even writing the MACROS for individual key combinations that you want on your Keychron Q3. VIA supports macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Hot-swappable board with premium switches and stabilizers

The hot-swappable board supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical MX switches. The Q3 barebone is equipped with high-quality screw stabilizers, which offer stability and smoothness. The screw design also allows compatibility with a wide range of other stabilizers.

South-facing RGB lighting

The south-facing RGB-SMD LED lighting is easy to see, so each button can be individually illuminated. Ideal for translucent PBT keycaps.
