Keychron V1
The V1 is a fully customizable mechanical keyboard that is ideally suited for all applications. It's a great choice for getting started in the world of custom keyboards. With its compact 75% format, QMK/VIA support, acoustic silicone pad and double-shot PBT keycaps, the V1 offers maximum typing comfort and increases productivity.
What is the difference between the Q-Series and the V-Series?
The Q-series comes in a double-gasket design with an aluminum housing, while the V-series uses an ABS plastic housing in a tray mount design. The most important premium features of the Q-series are retained in the V-series, but due to the plastic housing it is much cheaper.
All-round modifiable keyboard with powerful inner workings
All components are designed to be easy to assemble. Therefore, you can customize and replace each component as you wish. An Arm Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 MCU with very low power consumption, which is powerful and equipped with 128K flash, offers more flexibility for developers.
Hot-swappable
The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the board, so you can install or replace the switches without soldering. The board supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical MX switches.
Compatibility with Mac and Windows
The keyboard has a system switcher on the side for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.
Programming with QMK & VIA
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap any key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware VIA allows you to define any key, keyboard layout, or backlight. Even writing from the MACROS for individual keyboard shortcuts that you want on your Keychron V1. VIA supports macOS, Windows, and Linux
RGB Lighting & Keychron K Pro Switches
The south-facing RGB-SMD LED lighting is easy to see as they face the user. The Keychron K Pro switches are pre-lubricated at the factory and offer an excellent typing experience, which is completed by the double-shot PBT keycaps in the OSA profile.
