Keychron's Q2 is a high-quality barebones keyboard where every key switch, keycap, stabilizer, and even plate can be customized. It is designed to create an ingenious typing experience through comprehensive personalization.
The Q2 barebone consists of a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum housing that goes through 24 processes, including polishing, anodizing and sandblasting. The seal-mounted design gives the board a comfortable, flexible writing experience with an excellent sound. The maximum flex of the Q2 is up to 2.5 mm.
The barebones keyboard has a toggle switch for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap any key (including the knob) on the keyboard. The open-source firmware VIA allows you to define any key, keyboard layout, or backlight. Even writing from the MACROS for individual keyboard shortcuts that you want on your Keychron Q2. VIA supports macOS, Windows, and Linux.
The hot-swappable board supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical MX switches. The Q2 barebone is equipped with high-quality screw stabilizers, which offer stability and smoothness. The screw design also allows compatibility with a wide range of other stabilizers.
The south-facing RGB-SMD LED lighting is easy to see, so each button can be individually illuminated. Ideal for translucent PBT keycaps.
