The Q65 is a fully customizable mechanical keyboard with an exclusive 65% layout. It is based on the traditional 65% layout, but has an additional column with macro keys and a programmable rotary knob. The Q65 features a CNC-machined aluminum chassis, a dual-seal design, and QMK/VIA support - all for minimal desktop setup and maximum productivity.
The Keychron Q65 consists of a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum housing that goes through 24 processes, including polishing, anodizing and sandblasting. The double seal allows the keyboard to maintain the flexibility of the seal structure and improves the overall sound when typing
The keyboard has a toggle switch for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap any key (including the knob) on the keyboard. The open-source firmware VIA allows you to define any key, keyboard layout, or backlight. Even writing from the MACROS for individual keyboard shortcuts that you want on your Keychron Q65. VIA supports macOS, Windows, and Linux.
The hot-swappable board supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical MX switches. The Q65 is equipped with high-quality screw stabilizers, which offer stability and smoothness. The screw design also allows compatibility with a wide range of other stabilizers.
The south-facing RGB-SMD LED lighting is easy to see as they face the user. The Gateron G-Pro switches are pre-lubricated from the factory and offer an excellent typing experience, which is completed by the double-shot PBT keycaps.
